Lip Sync Task

This video clip from youtube is our finished lip sync video. The task was to lip sync on camera using a variety of shots, then edit the clips to the song. This task was mainly for practice when it comes to being filmed and when it comes to editing the video, as it can be tricky to edit the lip sync to the correct part of the song. Something that helped us overcome this difficulty was that we played the song out loud and next to the camera whilst filming, so that we could match the audio to the actual song whilst editing. We then deleted the audio from the video clip so that we were left with the finished product. Another technique we used was matching the shot count to the pace of the song. As 'Bohemian Rhapsody' has slow parts and fast parts in the song, in the slow parts we used a low amount of shots, and then, when the tempo increased, we increased the amount of shots. this conforms to the regular expectations of a music video.
